In this work, some different polymeric membranes for increasing oxygen concentration in passing air from them were fabricated
and their physical and morphological properties have been studied. For membrane fabrication, low or non-crystalline polymeric
materials such as PC, EVA, PVC and phase inversion process has been used. Solutions of mentioned polymer materials with
various concentrations in some solvents (i.e. Chloroform, Tetrahydrofuran, Cyclohexanone, Dimethylfomamide) are prepared
and suitable films were fabricated by doctor blade casting method in controlled conditions. The morphology of fabricated
membranes has been studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Oxygen and nitrogen relative permeability for
different membranes were also investigated. The results show that EVA film has suitable permeability and selectivity for
separation of these gases.
